Senior Partner

Dali Mjila ~ BA Law, LLB, UCT 1995

Mr. Abel Vumile Mjila, obtained his BA LLB, from the University of Cape Town in 1995. He completed articles at Matz Watermeyer Attorneys, in Claremont, in the Western Cape. Mr. Mjila was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1997.

In September 1997, he was offered a position at Hofmeyer Hebstein, Gihwala Attorneys in their Commercial Department.

On the 1st October 1998, Mr. Mjila commenced employment in the Premier’s Office, as the Head of Labour Relations.

On the 1st September 2000, joined the Department of Health to head a new unit at Kimberley Hospital Complex, known as the Human Resources Unit.

On the 31st October 2001, Mr. Mjila resigned from Government to establish Mjila & Partners Attorneys.

Mr. Mjila served as the Secretary of the Black Lawyers Association and was later appointed as the Chairman of the local executive committee.

Mr. Mjila was also appointed as the Secretary of the N.E.C. of the Black Lawyers Association during the period 2008 until 2010. In 2010 until 2012 he served as the Deputy Chairperson of the BLA.

Mr. Mjila was a councillor at the Cape Law Society – serving on both the Executive Council and Disciplinary Council. Mr. Mjila was also a representative of the Circle 16 – being the local branch of the Cape Law Society during 2004 until 2010.

Mr. Mjila was the Acting Magistrate of the Upington Magistrate’s Court in Upington during 2009.

Admitted Attorney of the High Court. Mr Baloyi completed his articles at Duncan and Rothman in Kimberley.

He joined our team in 2017 as a professional assistant and specialize in High Court/ Magistrate Court Litigation.

Mkhokeli Pino ~ LLB, NWU 2014


Mkhokeli Pino joined our team in 2013 and completed his article in 2018.

Mr Pino has formally been employed in the Northern Cape Provincial Government as a Legal Administration Officer at the Department of Roads and Public Works under the Directorate Litigation, Regulation and Advisory Services.

He holds a post graduate course in International Trade through the Thabo Mbeki Institute of African Leadership.
He is currently pursuing a short course in Commercial Forensic Investigations through the North West University.
